Missed Social Security Check: No Big Deal to Republicans

Missed Social Security Checks should be nothing to complain about according to Trump’s Commerce Secretary, Howard Lutnick opining that missing a Social Security check for a month is no big deal and only someone committing fraud would complain about that. The remarks are only the latest in a series of dramatic moves by the Trump administration that show a lack of awareness or concern about the importance of regular Social Security checks to many Americans’ survival.

During an interview on a podcast All-In with Chamath, Jason, Sacks & Friedberg, Lutnick discussed how he believes Americans would respond to going a month without a Social Security check during an interview on the podcast All-In with Chamath, Jason, Sacks & Friedberg. During the appearance, Lutnick said the average American, using his mother-in-law as an example, would not complain about not receiving their checks for a month but that someone who was hacking the system would do so.

“Let’s say Social Security didn’t send out their checks this months. My mother-in-law is 94, she wouldn’t call up and complain. She just wouldn’t. She would think something got messed up and she’d get it next month,” he said. “A fraudster always makes the loudest noise, screaming, yelling and complaining.”

IMO, Howard Lutnick making such statement proves what an an out-of-touch IDIOT he is. No surprise since Trump has hired some of the WORST and most incompetent idiots ever seen in a Presidential ‘administration’.

According to Wikipedia; “Lutnick owns 60% of Cantor Fitzgerald, with a net worth of “at least $1.5 billion”. So it’s no wonder why he can’t imagine or comprehend what it’s like to live from pay-check to pay-check.

In my opinion, if Lutnick’s mother-in-law is that well off that she isn’t dependent on Social Security, she shouldn’t be getting Social Security in the 1st place and should be REMOVED as a SS Recipient.

Taking RICH people off of SS who doesn’t need it would save a lot of tax payer money.
