Title from YouTube: “Trump Gave Republicans False Hope On Coronavirus”
Polling indicates that Republicans are not as prepared for the worst of the coronavirus as Democrats and Lawrence O’Donnell argues that’s because Republicans are believing Trump’s false claims about the severity of the virus.

Title from ABC News: Trump not taking responsibility for Coronavirus testing issues
Unlike President Truman who used to say “The Buck Stops Here”, Trump takes no responsibility for Coronavirus testing issues. This is the typical response of Trump, to never take responsibility for anything, unless it’s to take credit for other people’s work or success. Or to brag, giving himself a “10” or “A+”. Another example of how disgusting, unfit and UN-Presidential Trump is.
Trump administration sent protective medical gear to China while he minimized the virus threat to US | CNN
Dean Obeidallah writes that a week after President Donald Trump told Americans he understood the threat posed by coronavirus, the administration shipped over 35,000 pounds of medical gear to China, showing he failed to comprehend the risk facing the US.
Per the above article; ” Our doctors and nurses are in desperate need of masks, gloves and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect themselves from contracting the coronavirus while treating those who are ill. Some of them are trying to find it on eBay while others are pleading for help on social media. The situation is so dire one New Jersey doctor described it as “sending medical professionals like lambs to the slaughterhouse.”
Concerns about a dwindling supply of PPE are not new. Back on February 7, the World Health Organization sounded alarm bells about “the limited stock of PPE,” noting demand was 100 times higher than normal for this equipment.
Yet the same day as the WHO warning, the Trump administration announced that it was transporting to China nearly 17.8 tons (more than 35,000 pounds) of “masks, gowns, gauze, respirators, and other vital materials.” As Secretary of State Mike Pompeo noted in the press release announcing this shipment, “These donations are a testament to the generosity of the American people.” Click here to read article March 30, 2020
Trump’s campaign attorneys sent letters to TV stations in five battleground states to stop them from showing the above ad using Trump’s own words. This is an attack on Democracy, Freedom of Speech and Banana Republic Authoritarian Dictator conduct.

Trump made 33 false claims about the coronavirus crisis in the first two weeks of March | CNN Politics
President Donald Trump began March with a barrage of false claims about the coronavirus pandemic – understating the extent of the crisis, overstating the availability of tests, inaccurately blaming his predecessor and wrongly insisting that the crisis was unforeseen.
According to the above article; “Trump made 50 false claims from March 2 through March 8, then 21 false claims from March 9 through March 15. Coronavirus is exposing the ‘pathologies’ and ‘sheer incompetence’ of Trump’s administration: conservative
In Northern California, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has been investigating what appears to be the United States’ first example of someone being diagnosed with coronavirus despite having never left the country; everyone previously treated for coronavirus in the U.S. had trave…
According to the above article; “Over the last two years, Trump has hacked away at the funding and agencies responsible for defending Americans from viral threats. As Laurie Garrett writes in Foreign Policy, back in 2018, Trump “fired the government’s entire pandemic response chain of command, including the White House management infrastructure. That same year the CDC cut its efforts to fight global diseases by 80 percent due to lack of funding. Trump’s administration slashed funding for disease combat across the board, and eliminated a $30 million Complex Crisis Fund.
He also has repeatedly proposed enormous cuts to Medicare and Medicaid, and allowed states to throw thousands off the latter program. Republicans have systematically undermined and weakened ObamaCare, exacerbating a structural weakness to epidemics in American society — our garbage health care system. Tens of millions of Americans have no insurance and tens of millions of others cannot afford to use the coverage they do have — meaning many will hesitate to go to the doctor to get tested for fear of being gouged by rapacious medical providers.”

14 Coronavirus-infected Americans flown home against CDC instructions, report says
US government overruled objections from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to put 14 coronavirus-infected Americans on an airplane with other healthy people.
The Trump administration swiftly leaked that the president was mad about this decision, and that nobody told him about it at the time. That could be true (or not — Trump and his team lie about things all the time). But even if it is true, it’s a confession of a stunning level of incompetence. The president is so checked out that he’s not in the loop even on critical decisions and is making excuses for himself after the fact.
