Examples of lawsuits against ICE
California car wash owner: The owner of a car wash is suing the federal government after he was allegedly tackled, handcuffed, and injured during an ICE raid while trying to help a worker. He is seeking $50 million in damages.
U.S.-born citizen detained twice: A U.S. citizen was detained twice by ICE agents in Alabama, despite showing his Real ID and stating he was a citizen both times. He filed a lawsuit alleging the detention was unlawful.
