Trump’s ban against CNN, MS NOW and Politico has backfired because the media organizations that make up the official press pool has boycotted covering Trump. While some non-pool cameras captured the ribbon-cutting, the lack of pool audio technicians meant virtually none of the president’s remarks could be heard.
